Help! Jess hair question!!!!!

I was wondering if any of you that have Jess have noticed that her some of her hair is barely long enough to tuck into her braids???

I didn't notice this until she had been played with some. Now, I'm not talking about the back hair, I know that it's cut shorter around her part. I'm talking about the very top layer of her hair. The hair that has pulled out will just barely fit into the top part of where her hair is braided????

I'm just not sure if this is how she is supposed to be or if something could have happened to her wig at the factory and they were able to still style it and just sent her on! Like I said, when she is out of the box and in un-played with condition, you can't see it because it will barely tuck into the top of her braids. DD has been taking very good care of her and wanted to leave the braids up as long as possible, but we're going to have to take them down because it makes her look messy.

I'd appreciate any input on this!

Mine is the same a layed cut. Guessing it gives her more body when her hair isn't braided.

I have two Jess dolls, and both have hair just like that.I also had a third I had to return, and she had hair like that too.
